A load cell is simply a device that senses an applied physical force and then gives an observable output quantity that is proportional to the applied force. A load cell usually is in the form of a properly shaped and sized piece of material, often a form of metal, to which the force is applied. The electrical signal is then conditioned to give an observable quantity that represents the magnitude of that force. It works by the deformation of a material which results to changes in the resistivity of the material and this then produces an electric voltage signal. The materials used are elastic in nature, hence they can be compressed and stretched. The meaning comes from the analogy of a loaded projectile weapon like a gun. It is dangerous when pointed at a target and somewhat innocuous when unloaded. So is a question that is designed to elicit a particular response. Can you see the difference and the similarities? The first is already predetermined that Trump is an asshole, the second questions whether or not he is without assuming the positive or negative. A load-bearing wall or bearing wall is a wall that bears the weight of the house above said wall, resting upon it by conducting its weight to a foundation structure. The materials most often used to construct load-bearing walls in large buildings are concrete, block, or brick. In building generally load of slab is transferred to beam. In other words slab is generally supported by beams. Loads of beams are transferred to columns . In such a case the walls constructed is non load bearing walls. The wall only bears it’s own weight. No load is transferred from beams and slab. So while designing such type of wall no special considerations is required. Wall is constructed as per requirements of doors, windows and as per building code. If the load of slab is directly transferred to wall then such type of wall is load bearing wall. While designing such type of wall load of slab also should be considered together with its self weight.
